So, a blog? Something that is likely to be read by 4, 5... maybe 6 people. Something that isn't restricted by 140 characters, a quick quip here or there, or something with the aim of getting a notification, a like.
I've thought of starting it, the blog, for a while now. Encouraged to even, by those people who have 100 LinkedIn connections or whatever it is.
In all honesty, starting this was down to a friend showing me hers. Someone I know probably better than most, yet the reading of her blog was something that made me think I should do something like it too. There's things in blogs that aren't usually mentioned in normal conversation, on Facebook, Whatsapp or text. But those unsaid things usually are the reasons for all the said things. An underpinning, if you like.
As an MSc student, I've already put off getting a "proper" job a little bit longer, perhaps this blog could be a log of thoughts and happenings as I worry about paying off the loan, waste copious amounts of time procrastinating, and the eventual drive towards that first step on the ladder. Getting into the big, wide, scary world of work.
Perhaps.
Maybe one day a film will be made on it... the *big-American-film-voice* Struggles of a Graduate in 2011 maybe? I like it.
